James

I walk into my dark office a little earlier than normal because I did not complete the usual extra work I normally do on the weekends. I don’t regret it, though. I can’t remember the last time I had two days off work and actually enjoyed myself. I never even thought about opening my emails or my laptop. Abigail distracted me in the best way possible.

I smile as I think about her and I shake my head, getting back into work mode, as I have a lot to do this morning. I flick the lights on and sort the paperwork in order.

Once I’m organized, I sit down and begin emailing the to-do list for Sophie before responding to the mountain of emails that I received over the weekend.

I’m deep in a new contract when Sophie enters my office. I’m listening to her explain her weekend antics when my mind travels back to my weekend.

The way Abigail’s body responded to my touch, the soft moans and sounds coming from her sweet mouth sends a rush of blood to my cock that’s borderline painful. I feel my balls become heavy and achy with needing her again. When will I ever get my fill? This longing for a woman is a new feeling for me.

There is a tightness in my chest as I think about how vulnerable I am with her. How I can tell her things I don’t even tell Joshua, Benjamin and Thomas.

I couldn’t turn her away even if I wanted to. There is something in her green eyes that has me second-guessing my theories about relationships. She is so different from anything I could have imagined. I wasn’t looking for a relationship, or wanting one, but she barreled into my life and forced me to question everything that I want.

I have lost concentration and have no idea what Sophie is talking about. So, I do the only thing I can do. I nod and say, “Mm-hmm,” and she continues, not realizing my lack of attention.

When she leaves, I go back to the contract, but my phone rings. It’s Joshua.

“I’m going for a coffee across the road. You free?” he asks.

“Yeah, I’ll come now. I can fill you in on the little minx working for me. Who was sent to fuck with me.”

Joshua lets out a roar of laughter that makes me smile. I know he and the boys will have a field day knowing I’m pussy whipped, just like them.

“As if you can talk. I’ll see you soon.”

I hang up and grab my jacket, then pack up my desk.

Passing Sophie, who is on the phone, I tell her, “Going for a coffee.”

She nods.

Taking the elevator, I stare at her floor number and I can’t help but be tempted to push it, shaking my head, I remember my position as her boss. I press the ground floor and hold my breath until I pass her floor and the elevator stops and opens at the bottom.

I wait in front of Joshua’s building and get absorbed in my phone.
